Order! Order! Hon. Members, you are aware today's Sitting is a special one. The House is privileged to have here the First Gentleman of the Republic of Ghana [Hear! Hear!] His Excellency, Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor, President of the Republic of Ghana and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces.
His Excellency, the President is here to deliver the State of the Nation Address in accordance with article 67 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ghana. On behalf of the Leadership and hon. Members of the House and on behalf of my own self, I deem it an honour and privilege to welcome His Excellency the President to the House.
